SCI Connections: An informative and fun evening
There is clearly a lot of interest in the field of Spinal Cord Stimulation and that was obvious by the strong attendance in person and on line from the SCI community. We have to thank Dr Anastasia Keller for such a comprehensive overview of Spinal Stimulation both from a historical point of view and right up to the latest trials and products for both epidural and transcantanious methods.
SCI connections is more than just a presentation and for the individuals who were able to attend in person, Dr Keller made herself available to answer everyones specific questions that may not have been addressed in the regular Q&A session.
SCVMC also laid on pizza and refreshments and there was plenty of time for the community to get together in a friendly, relaxed environment after the meeting. Dr Keller was surprised by some of the questions as some of the attendees were already knowledgable about the technology trends and capabilities of the stimulation systems.
